Level 1 White Belt recommended ages 6-9

Our white belt program which introduces the great game of golf to boys and girls between the ages of 6-9.

This program :

• is 4/60 minute sessions over 4 weeks.
• covers basic rules and etiquette to introduce the great game of golf.
• covers basics in grip, stance, posture, and ball position for many aspects of the game of golf.
• covers full swing, chipping, and putting in a fun and encouraging manner.
• is a great place to start if your child is new to the game or needs a refresher course.
• is recommended before doing the level 2 program.

CHECKPOINTS TO PASS LEVEL 1 INCLUDE :

• Demonstrates correct grip, stance, and posture.
• Identify parts of a golf hole.
• Basic understanding of scoring terms.
• Can sustain focus and participates in the lesson.
• Can 3 Putt or less from 20 feet from the hole.
• Can chip the ball into the air and onto the green from 3 yards off of the green.
• Can make effective contact with the ball on a full swing.   No distance requirement.

TESTING IS DONE DURING THE LESSONS AND 5 CHECKPOINTS MUST BE PASSED TO MOVE ONTO THE LEVEL 2 YELLOW BELT PROGRAM.
